Nov/2025 – We know grouting. In this case, we also removed cracked tiles on the stairs that were causing injury, and replaced them.

1. Begin by removing old grout to a depth of at least 1/8 inch using a grout saw or power tool, ensuring all debris is cleared.

2. Clean the area thoroughly with a pH-neutral cleaner or diluted muriatic acid, then allow it to dry completely.

3. Mix the epoxy grout according to the manufacturer’s instructions and apply it, pressing it firmly into the joints.

4. Wipe away excess grout with a damp sponge, using the two-bucket method to prevent scratching.

5. Allow the grout to cure for at least 24 hours, preferably 48, before refilling the pool.

6. For coping joints, use mortar instead of grout, and seal the finished surface to protect it.
